One of the Best!! - The New York Latinas of the 80s and the 90s rocked the house, but they never got any credit or respect. Safire is one of those Latinas who showed me that the love of music was colorless. From the first moment I heard Boy I ve Been Told, I knew she had the potential to be another Madonna, but her career never took off the way it did in the Underground world. Lucky for me, I love music and took chances on different artists who managed to impress me with one song (sadly, I can t do that anymore because today s music is bad). Get this album to get a wide scope of her English songs and pray that she will soon re-release all her English cds someday.
Great artist, great voice. Total satisfaction! - I bought this album when it first came out and haven t stopped listening to it since. I use it at the gym. It gets me pumped either on the treadmill or lifting weights. If you like the BPMs to be up in a song, then you ll find it with this album. She has a great voice and the remixes here are awesome. Tony Moran and co. did a great job. Definately she s a great performer as well a humble person! Good job Safire.M..
Safire in my Eyes!!! - I can t wait for Safire return. This cd is great for fans, also the ATREVIDA album is really good. All the songs are great!!Some of my personal favorites are..thinking of youwhatever happens- incredible balladetc...basicly all of her songs. One of the best things about Safire is that she sings with such convition, you believe what shes saying.
SLAMMIN CD - I love all of SAFIRE s albums! She was one of the top freestyle/dance artist of her genre back in the late 80 s and early 90 s and this cd proves she still has the power & talent to move into todays club scene. Her hits re-recorded and updated. 100% ENJOYABLE AND DANCEABLE. She is truely a talented latina whom I would like to see back in the music scene. SAFIRE if you read this, do all your fans a favor and come back, we re waiting for you in anticipation!!!
Slammin Dance CD - I have followed Safire since she emerged onto the music scene with her huge dance hit don t break my heart back in 86. I have seen her perform, and loved all her music videos. This is one true talent. She was by far one of the most popular entertainers in the latin dance/pop movement of the late 80 s & early 90 s & continues to be very popular. this cd is awesome, all of her dance/radio hits reworked & updated. All vocals are brand new. I understand she will retired from the freestyle genre to pursue another form of music. I look forward to her next project. safire is a true talent and deserves the attention she once garnered. i love you girl!
